For those who enjoy the poetry of Robbie Burns; this weekend is the time to don your Kilt & Spartan to celebrate Scotland’s beloved Poet. The following are posted celebratory dinners celebrating with pipe music and dancers check also with your local legions and taverns for local celebrations.

Parksville, Qualicum Beach, Bowser Legions When: Thursday, Jan. 25, at 6 p.m. at the legion (7035 Island Hwy.). Where: 7035 Island Hwy W, Bowser, BC V0R 1G0. Parksville’s legion branch will host its Robbie Burns celebration this Saturday, and the Qualicum Beach and Bowser legions will follow with their own Robbie Burns Day events next week.
