April – Bring on the daffodils – they’re finally up! Spring has finally arrived here on Vancouver Island. The klaidescope of colour is breathtaking and along with this lush, vibrant colour is the music and arts is also into full swing.
Chemainus Theatre is showing the brilliantly charming music comedy 2 Pianos, 4 Hands. A comedy of the journey of two men’s dream to becoming classical pianists. All of our guest has given this show rave reveiew–a must see!! Along with this brilliant production, the Concenti Singers of the town of Duncan on April 23rd will be performing Canadian songs celebrating our sense of place – it’s call “this Land is What I am”. Then in Nanaimo the Conservatory Adult Ensemble will be performing The medley of Tango to Evora and Habanera Gris along with the Advanced group of the youth harpers, and the NC flute ensemble will be performed May 27th at the Nanaimo Conservatory’s 4oth Anniversary Concert.
